We do NOT ship internationally.

SHIPPING: All shipping is done on Mondays and Tuesdays only, regardless of shipping method. All orders will be shipped via FedEx or UPS, except orders to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Alaska, which will be shipped using USPS Priority Mail. During winter months, we will withhold shipment of orchid orders until weather conditions are conducive to their safe delivery (low temps above freezing).

We ship only on Mondays and Tuesdays, regardless of shipping method. We ship via FedEx or UPS. We will ship via Ground shipping unless you specify Express (2-Day Air, 3-Day Air) shipping. For the majority of the year, Ground shipping to most of the country is perfectly safe. Ground shipping is much more economical (generally $10-$20, as opposed to $25-$100+ for Express), however, there is a greater risk of damage to plants, usually from the extreme Summer heat, or mostly from freezing temps in Winter. During winter, we only use Ground shipping for the southeast U.S. The rest of the shipping should be done using 2 Day Express, weather permitting. Mostly, we hold the orders until warmer weather. For those customers in the colder climates, it may not be possible to ship orchids at all from late December through early April. (Since most orchids are tropical or sub-tropical plants, we cannot guarantee safe delivery during this time of year). As a general rule, we will hold your order and not ship if the low temperatures in your area are at or below freezing. Ground shipments go out every Monday (some orders to the Southeast U.S. can ship on Tuesday). Express 2-3 day shipments go out Mon.-Tues. of each week. If at all possible, we try to ship within 1 week of receiving your order. Please choose the appropriate shipping method when filling out your order. Orders received before 7:30 Tuesday morning usually ship that week. Any orders received after that will normally ship the following week.

 

We will still guarantee safe delivery of our plants with either method, but will not guarantee buds and/or flowers for orders shipped via Ground. If you want to guarantee your buds/flowers, you will need to pay the higher 2-3 day air shipping.

 

Packages containing 1-6 plants shipped via Ground will run approximately $10-18 depending on distance and weight. You can figure on adding about $2 per plant for additional plants to the Ground shipping estimate. *The same packages shipped via 2-day air would run approx. $18-50+, depending on distance and volume (box size).

 

Remember, these are estimated costs. Costs vary for many factors, including-but not limited to whether the package is being shipped to a residence or business, urban or rural area, etc.

TERMS: All offerings are subject to availability and all prices are subject to change without notice. Each catalog, listing, order form or other announcement of company policy supersedes all prior or undated announcements of company policy.

All orders are filled in the order in which payment arrives. We accept check, money order or approved credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express). A $25.00 charge will be assessed for returned checks. Purchase paid for with credit cards or money orders will be processed immediately. Personal checks must be cleared and create a 1 week delay. Please do not send cash.

For those paying by check or money order, we estimate Ground shipping for orders under $75 to be 25%, orders up to $150 to be 20%, and orders over $150 should estimate 15%.

For credit card orchid orders, your Mastercard, Visa, Discover , or American Express card is charged upon confirmation of the order, for plant costs, shipping costs and a packaging charge of five percent (5%) of the plant total.

WHOLESALE: This is a retail catalog only. Sorry, but at this time we do not have a wholesale listing.

OUR GUARANTEE: If you are not completely satisfied, contact us immediately and/or return the plants within 2 weeks of receipt of order. Liability is limited to the cost of the plant(s) and their actual shipping cost. Odom's Orchids guarantees healthy plants, but makes no warranty as to productivity or performance of any plant sold, as that is dependent upon your growing conditions.

SUBSTITUTIONS: Since our catalog has such a large selection and some items are very limited, it is not always possible to have every plant available for the entire year. Some plants may actually sell out in a relatively short time. We encourage you to list a few back-up choices, especially if you want a plant in bud/bloom for a gift, or you can give us a daytime telephone number when you order so we can call to discuss other plant choices.
