American Orchid Society
Everyone interested in orchids is invited to join the American Orchid Society, which offers many privileges to beginners and experts alike. Primary among many membership benefits is the award winning monthly magazine, Orchids. The magazines immensely popular advertising section presents sources of orchid plants, supplies and products of value to hobbyists. Each new AOS member also receives:

  • Your First Orchid, a 64 page book packed with useful information and more than 70 color photographs, providing the beginner with an expert-based education on every page.
  • AOS Orchid Source Directory, a collection of AOS activities, including a list of more than 400 Affiliated Societies, AOS judges, a listing of commercial growers, and much more.
  • A 10% discount on orchid books and merchandise available from the Orchid Emporium, the AOS's popular giftshop.
  • Free access to the AOS Information Services Department, where all of the answers to your orchid questions are found.
  • Free admission to the AOS Visitors Center and Botanical Garden in Delray Beach, Florida.
  • Discounted admission to gardens and arboreta around the USA.
