8C17 C. Horace 'Maxima' AM/AOS. (C. trianae x C. Woltersiana). When you talk about 'perfect' cattleya shape, C. Horace is what you picture. Large lavender 6" flowers with round, overlapping shape, complemented by a closed lip with rich purple at the end and yellow in the throat. One of the finest breeding cattleyas for giving full, round shape to its offspring. A Classic cattleya that every serious orchid grower should have in their collection. Fragrant. Limited.
